Be sober, be vigilant...

Be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about,

seeking whom he may devour. Resist him with steadfast faith…(1 Peter 5:8-11).

 

Let us put up a resistance in prayer.
To this end, please pray these 10 prayer points below for yourself and loved ones daily until this lockdown is over.

  • Our Father and our God, I bless You because in spite of all the trouble in the world today, you remain God and You reign. You remain our Father. You remain my Father!

  • Lord, please protect me against Covid-19 and all its devastations. Please keep me from all other illnesses, all accidents and all incidents at this time, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Lord, in these difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the name of Jesus Christ please protect and bless my job (my studies), my finances, my home, my family life…
  •  Lord, please protect my family and all those who are dear to me (children, parents, friends) against Covid-19 and its devastations in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Lord, in these difficult times, please protect my faith and my relationship with You. Protect me from all sin, temptation, doubts and seduction from the Devil in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Lord, please protect me and lead me with regards to the massive Covid-19 vaccination program that is ongoing in the world.
  • Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost, please lead me and prepare me to face post-Covid-19 life victoriously.
  • Lord it is said in the book of Romans 8:28 that You make all things work together for the good of those who love You. Oh Lord, may this be my portion. Grant that I will love you even more during these difficult times and may this difficult season work for my good in the name of Jesus Christ.
